ADVANCED TECHNIQUE IN SHOULDER SURGERY

ARTHROSCOPY BAHU

Artroskopi bahu adalah teknik invasif minimal yang memungkinkan ahli bedah ortopedi menilai dan dalam beberapa kasus, mengobati berbagai kondisi yang mempengaruhi sendi bahu.

Selama prosedur, ahli bedah ortopedi membuat sayatan kecil atau portal di sendi yang terkena, lalu memasukkan kamera kecil dan serat optik untuk menerangi ruang interior. Gambar yang diperoleh dengan kamera kemudian diproyeksikan ke layar di ruang operasi.

Jika memungkinkan, teknik arthroscopic lebih disukai daripada operasi bahu terbuka tradisional, yang melibatkan sayatan lebih besar dan waktu pemulihan lebih lama

ARTROPLASTI BAHU

dr. Jefri Sukmawan, SpOT(K) is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. His areas of specialty are Shoulder and Elbow. He was educated and obtained his medical degree from University of Indonesia. He obtained fellowship through IOSSMA program and international fellowship, shoulder arthroscopy and shoulder arthroplasty in Samsung Medical Center (SMC), Seoul, Korea. He also obtained clinical attachment of sports medicine (shoulder arthroscopy) in National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore.

 He is the co-founder of Indonesian Shoulder and Elbow Society (INASES). Currently, he leads the Shoulder and Elbow division of Orthosports and Wellness Center in Premier Bintaro Hospital, Indonesia.
